01Context
A local association rents out professional audiovisual equipment to its community, from cameras to studios.
The goal was to make the equipment easier to browse and simplify the booking process for both members and the association.
02What we built
Renta'Cam is a booking platform where users can browse equipment, check availability through a calendar and make reservations online.
The front end was built with Vue.js, Pinia and Vite, while the back end was developed in PHP. The platform also includes account recovery by email and content that administrators can update.
03My contribution
I led the team and worked on most of the front end, including the overall interface and visual design.
I was responsible for building a large part of the Vue.js application and making sure the different pages and features stayed consistent across the project.
04What I learned
This project gave me more experience with Vue.js and Pinia on a larger front-end project.
I also had to deal with browser compatibility issues and adjust parts of the interface when they behaved differently across browsers.
